‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Will Rocket the Multiverse Saga into Phase Five
There is no understating how important this film is to the upcoming Marvel projects, as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will rocket the Multiverse Saga into Phase Five.
There are a few dates on the calendar that are as important to fans as the massive Disney convention, D23, which features all of the brands and companies under the Disney umbrella sharing what they have in store for ans in the coming years.
As is the case seemingly every year, Marvel is front and center with some of the biggest announcements, reveals, and updates that are of immense importance to the overall unfolding of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This year, there were so many products that invited intrigue to fans, and with so many still shrouded in mystery, there was one that was discussed that was a little more important than others.
That project is the one set to reintroduce the next huge villain to the MCU, as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will rocket the Multiverse Saga into Phase Five, and it should have massive implications.
It was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con that the entire Phase Four and Phase Five film slate had been restructured; which pushed Fantastic Four to Phase Six and made the third Ant-Man film the project to kick off the next Phase.

Based off of everything that we know about the project, it is primed to be one of the biggest first films for any phase, as it should set the tone for where Marvel is headed before the two massive Avengers films that are planned to bookend Phase Six close out this next era of the MCU.
The biggest reason for the importance of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the impending Kang appearance, which should present the villain in the form he will likely keep throughout Avengers: Secret Wars, and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
