Charlie Cox Reveals the Story He Wants from ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
It is among the most anticipated projects for the MCU’s Phase Five slate, as the star of the project, Charlie Cox reveals the story he wants from Daredevil: Born Again.
There are few days on the calendar that promise as much MCU and Marvel new as the massive three-day long Disney convention, D23.
Presenting Marvel president Kevin Feige the chance to discuss so much of what fans can expect from the upcoming slate of Marvel projects, there is always so much unveiled to the fandom.
With the massive MCU panel that took place, there were so many projects that excited fans, but there may have been none that had the anticipation that was present for the return of Matt Murdock.
A character that has developed a very special place in the hearts of MCU Fans, Murdock has become a fan-favorite hero since his return to the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the announcement that he will get his very own series on Disney+.
With the series title based on one of the character’s best comic book runs, the star of the project, Charlie Cox, revealed the story that he wants from Daredevil: Born Again.
As reported by The Direct, Cox stated, “We know there’s going to e18 episodes, and that’s kind of mind-blowing to me, so there’s even more content than we were doing before, which at the time, felt like a lot.”
Cox continued, “What I hope that does is give us longer to really live in the characters and to spend more time in Matt Murdock’s world as a lawyer and still have all the cool Daredevil superhero stuff, but to really live his world and ground the show in the day-to-day life of someone whos a lawyer, I think could be really interesting.”
It would be a fantastic step for Marvel to re-establish Murdock’s life as a lawyer, and the reimagining f the story that fans already experienced in the Netflix Daredevil series, before moving him forward in his MCU journey.
