D23 Confirms Production of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Will Start in 2023
There are a few days on the calendar that are as important to the Marvel fandom as the massive, weekend-long, D23 convention.
Presenting the opportunity for some of the biggest brands and companies under the Disney umbrella to speak to their audience about all of the projects in store for the coming years.
Marvel, as usual, was front and center at the event, unveiling some of the biggest projects that the company has undertaken to be released in the near future.
Whether it was the massive efforts they’ve made in the world of video games, or the expansion to the ever-growing Avengers Campus at Disneyland’s California Adventure, or the various Disney+ and theatrical releases that will add to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With so many projects being discussed, there was one that seemed to catch the eye of almost all MArvel fans, with the panel finally needling just when the development would begin.
It was an update that was given on Twitter following the event when it was then made known that D23 confirmed production of Daredevil: Born Again will begin in 2023.
Production doesn’t kick off until next year for Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again, but #D23Expo got to hear from the stars themselves. Welcome back to Hell’s Kitchen: https://t.co/D8dWeGP1ms pic.twitter.com/nCtlekTe9a

Not only is the renewed Daredevil series that is set to arrive on Disney+ one of the most exciting projects that were spoken of, but it presents a very unique opportunity for one of Marvel’s greatest characters to reintroduce themselves to Marvel fans.
Charlie Cox is returning to don the horned cowl once again in She/Hulk, which should be the precursor to his appearance in the 18-episode season of Daredevil: Born Again.
With Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin also returning, fans should get a true Matt Murdock journey that explores the greatest aspects of the character; all under the namesake of one of the greatest Marvel comics of all time.
