Director Shawn Levy Shares Behind-the-Scenes Image of ‘Deadpool 3’ Announcement
It was news that broke the internet earlier this week, and we are now getting a better look at the process, as director Shawn Levy has shared a behind-the-scenes image of the Deadpool 3 announcement video.
There is little argument to be made that Deadpool has emerged as one of the most popular characters that Marvel currently has.

A hero who has long been a fan favorite from comic book readers due to his ultra-violent, comedic style that was made all the better by his fourth wall-breaking capability, Wade Wilson became a pop culture icon following his first two film adaptions.
Developed for the Fox universe, Deadpool was a passion project for the star of the film, Ryan Reynolds, and he quickly became a mainstream sensation following the massive success of those endeavors.

Following the Disney acquisition, fans have been anxiously awaiting any information on the character’s arrival into the MCU, and they got an answer earlier this week with an announcement that it would be debuting in September of 2024.
More so than just its release date, however, it was announced that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his role as Wolverine to make his MCU Debut as well.
Adding to the excitement, Director Shawn Levy has shared a behind-the-scenes image of that Deadpool 3 announcement that shows himself, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman in the setting of the video.

Levy has a lot of experience, specifically working with Reynolds, who has collaborated to make both Free Guy and The Adam Project, as well as his work with Hugh Jackman on Reel Steal.
The Stranger Things director has often noted his excitement at bringing to life this third Deadpool film and was heard previously speaking on his wish to include both Reynolds and Jackman as Deadpool and Wolverine.
