‘Deadpool 3’ Could be the Multiversal Film Marvel Fans Have Wanted
The Multiverse has been a major point of Phase Four thus far, even though it may have had its bumps in the road, there is no denying that Deadpool 3 has the chance to be the Multiversal film that Marvel fans have wanted.
There have been some tremendous themes and narrative moments that have defined Phase Four, and despite its rather divisive content, and inconsistencies, it has had its tremendous moments.
The only true negative is that those moments have been few and far between, with films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and series like Loki, being followed by projects like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Yet, with as much as the multiverse has been present and spoken of in Phase Four, it feels like Spider-Man: No Way Home was the only project to truly capture the embrace of what fans thought this kind of exploration would bring.
That all has the possibility to change, as Deadpool 3 could be the multiversal film that Marve fans have wanted, and deliver some of the most iconic moments of that phase.
Deadpool is known- and beloved- for his wise-cracking, ultra-violent, and fourth-wall-breaking style, and with the announcement of the film revealing that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will be a key part of the film, Wade Wilson’s presence in the Multiverse will be a hilarious collection of self-aware comedy about film franchises.
Jackman will likely be a version of his Fox movie universe character, and with Deadpool being present in that, there is no denying that the film will be about their integration into the Disney MCU universe, which should present plenty of opportunities for various camos.
When the merc with a mouth is around, absolutely nothing is off limits, and that should give MArvel all the chances to deliver a fan service-filled adventure of epic proportions.
