Marvel Debuts Brand New King Daredevil
It is one of the coolest series going in Marvel comics, and it will take a massive turn, as the upcoming Daredevil #5 is set to introduce the Marvel Universe to King Daredevil.
There may not be another title in the Marvel world with as much momentum as Chip Zdarsky’s Daredevil series, with the hero coming off of the massive Devils Reign run that pit him and all of New York against the Kingpin himself.
In the history of Marvel comics, there may not be a superhero that is as consistently interesting as the blind vigilante, as Daredevil has long been one of the most beloved and unique heroes that Marvel has ever created.
There has always been something so compelling about the qualities that make Daredevil the kind of hero that he is, and following hte big events of Devils Reign, he is moving forward to craft a new identity and new collective
The series has continued, as Matt Murdock and Elektra have continued to join forces to put a stop to The HAnd once and for all, choosing to establish a collective that would be strong enough to finally take it down; one they are calling, The Fist.
The issue is bringing that organization together, and allowing Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto to craft a brand new entity prepared to wreak havoc against those who seek harm to the Marvel Universe; King Daredevil.

It was a design first shown by Checchetto for alternate covers of upcoming issues, and it showcases a very unique take on the iconic Daredevil design.
Perhaps the most interesting addition to the design is the implementation of a hood similar to the one that Elektra’s Daredevil began wearing, and one that adds even more mystery to the hero’s signature devil-horned look.

Equipped with a beard and black accents, it will be remarkable to see if the story matches the sheer excellence of this design.
