‘Werewolf by Night’ Producer Discusses the MCU Future of Jack Russell
The spookiest Marvel project has officially arrived and it was undeniably brilliant; but with fans already curious as to the future of its title character, Werewolf by Night producer Brian Gay discusses the future of Jack Russell.
Since the first trailer for the project was released at D23, fans had been tremendously excited for the scariness that waited for them at the Halloween Disney+ special, Werewolf by Night
A project that was teased not as a series, or a feature film, but as a special event, was primed to introduce Marvel fans to the very present, but very hidden, the world of the supernatural.
With the special exceeding so many expectations, fans are already curious as to the future of the project’s lead character, which was recently shared with ComicBook.com, as Werewolf by Night producer Brian Gay discussed the MCU future of Jack Russel.
Speaking of the character, Gay stated, “He is unpredictable. I don’t know that the is anyone’s ally in the sense that I think Jack just views it as part of him.”
Gay added, “Many of our heroes view their powers as a calling or as something to step up or they get this. And Jack is just who he is. That is who he is as a person. And he probably knows he’s a little special, but he probably does think he’s special.”
Gay then concluded, “There’s a difference there of how he’s unlike, this is who I am and this is how you should see me.”
Finally, when discussing whether or not Jack could be a part of a team in the future, Gay stated, “Who to say, I’m not sure if anyone would readily approach him and be like, ‘Come join my heat.’ He’s a little ferocious.”
