Marvel Announces ‘Bloodline: Daughter of Blade’ at New York Comic-Con
Her father has certainly been one of the most beloved supernatural Marvel characters the publication has ever crafted, and now fans will get a better peak into her story, as the company announced the brand new Bloodline: Daughter of Blade series at New York Comic-Con.
San Diego Comic-Con and D23 are often the biggest days of the year for new information regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe; and have become staples in the tradition of that endeavor.
Equally, the east coast version of those events, New York Comic-Con, has long been the place where Marvel comics are able to delve into what is in store for the coming year, and what readers can look forward to from their favorite characters.
This year was no different and provided a plentiful panel that showed off some of the upcoming series and heroes that will be the focus of the publication in the coming year; with one specifically having the potential to be one of its surprising successes.
As part of the festivities, Marvel unveiled the brand new Bloodline: Daughter of Blade series at New York Comic-Con, and promise a story that will delve into Brielle Brooks, the daughter of the legendary Daywalker.

Blade has long been one of the most popular heroes in Marvel comics history, and now his legacy is set o be inherited by his daughter, Brielle, in a story brought together by writer Danny Lore and artist Karen S. Darboe.
The series will tackle the life of a young Brooks who is facing all of the struggles of young high school life, while also manifesting vampiric powers that are bringing out the angered undead; until she learns who her father is, and everything changes.
Fans can catch the series arriving this February 1st!
