Marvel Celebrates 60th Anniversary of the Avengers with Variant Covers
There are few teams that are as important to the history of Marvel comics, and with the teams anniversary upon us artists, J. Scott Campbell has celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Avengers with new variant covers of the upcoming Avengers Assemble Alpha #1
One peak down the pantheon of Marvel heroes and villains that have adorned the history of one of the greatest publications in comic book lore and there is little argument that the Avengers are among the medium’s greatest creations.
A team of various heroes that band together to be a beacon of hope to the Marvel Universe, the Avengers have always been where some of the most powerful Marvel heroes gather to become a stronger unit of protection from some of the most dangerous comic book villains.
Iconic heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, and Black Widow have gathered together to bring their unique powers, circumstances, and history, to a team that has become synonymous with what Marvel is, and what it always could be.
And with the team having been that iconic collective for six decades, Marvel is now celebrating hte 60th anniversary of the Avengers with brand new variant covers of the upcoming Avengers Assemble Alpha #1 by artist J. Scott Campbell.

The issue is primed to be the conclusion to the massive series crafted by one of the most brilliant minds in the comic book industry, Jason Aaron, as he widens the scope of the Marvel universe to pit the Avengers against a massive, multiversal, threat.
