RUMOR: Silver Surfer Set to be a Disney+ Special Presentation?
It is the newest format that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is exploring to tell a host of new stories, and it could introduce a cosmic icon from the Marvel world, as a rumor is circulating that Silver Surfer is set to be the next Disney+ Special Presentation
There is little argument to be made that the Silver Surfer is among the most iconic and important MArvel heroes of the massive pantheon of characters they have crafted over the years.
Surfer has always been a stand out of the work done by Stan Lee and was a clear sign of the writer’s anti-war sentiments, and pacifistic allegiances in an era that was highlighted by massive military conflicts.
Silver Surfer was an entity that was imprisoned by the entity known as Galactus, to act as his herald, and to bring to himself planets that were worthy to be devoured by the comics monstrosity that would seek endless rampages against the universe at large.
It was the tragedy of the Norin Radd that made him so compelling as a character, and the dichotomy between his doomed fate to aid the villain of Galactus, and his desire to do as much good as he could.
And that character may now be set to arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it has been rumored that silver Surfer will be the subject of the next Disney+ special presentation.

Although it would make sense as a discussion for Marvel Studios, it feels as though Silver Surfer would make sense in that format, as opposed to a whole series or film; but it also is likely just a rumor without any real committed one-way or the other.
