The Fanatastic Four: First Steps’s Vanessa Kirby Lauds Co-Star Pedro Pascal

When The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters next year, the film will not only mark the debut of the iconic superhero team in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it will also introduce the definitive Marvel family.

Ahead of the film’s release, the First Family of Marvel has made it clear that the heart of the Fantastic Four movie will be the bond between its titular characters.

“The authorship that we have as a family is what’s anchoring us to this experience. And the rest of it is all valuable information and inspiration,” Perdro Pascal (who will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in the film) told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year.

Joining Pascal in The Fantastic Four will be Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/The Invisible Girl), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch), and Ebron Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). With the chemistry between the film’s stars integral to the success of the Fantastic Four film, all eyes have been on the four actors.

Luckily, it looks like Marvel has nothing to worry about.

Vanessa Kirby Gushes Over Her ‘Fantastic Four’ Castmates

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kirby was asked about her relationship with her new castmates. The actress was laudatory.

“He’s everything. I love him. We’re having such a good time. I can’t say enough amazing stuff about him,” she said about Pedro Pascal.

“I just came from set. Im flying back tonight in about two hours to go back onto set. It’s quite surreal. I’m loving [Sue]. I love her so much. And I love her in the comics, I’m honored to play her. I love Ebon, Joe, and Pedro. We’re having a great time.”

By the sound of things, the Fantastic Four are having a great time on Matt Shakman’s set. Hopefully, the chemistry between the team members will shine through on the big screen.
