New ‘Loki’ Season 2 Deleted Scene Teases Enchantress, Absorbing Man and Hercules
While Season 2 of Loki eventually ended with the God of Mischief forsaking his own happiness to spend eternity alone and holding the multiverse together, Tom Hiddleston’s Asgardian made quite the list of enemies during his life.
In a new deleted scene titled Roll Call, Loki looks back at his life and recounts to Mobius (Owen Wilson) all the people who “said I was a problem.”
Beginning on Asgard, Loki’s list commences with the Warriors Three (Volstgg, Hogan, and Fandral), Laufey, king of the Frost Giants, and Bor (Odin’s father and Loki’s adopted grandfather). He also names Heimdall twice, noting, “Heimdall was a big one!”
Moving to Earth, Loki’s list continues with Jane Foster, Erik Selvig, Darcy Lewis, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Donald Blake, “who Thor pretends to be when he goes to Earth.”
An Interesting Choice of Characters
Interestingly, the God of Mischief also names two characters who have yet to make their MCU debut. The first is the Asgardian Amora/Enchantress, who is often depicted as an enemy of Thor, and the second is Absorbing Man, who, in the comics, was a boxer named Carl Creel until Loki poisons him.
Finally, Loki names drops the Greek demigod Hercules (Brett Goldstein), who appeared in the post-credits scene of 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
“Hercules — another big guy,” Loki tells Mobius. “I was a big problem for him.”

Does Loki’s List Foreshadow Anything?
While it remains to be seen if Loki’s list of enemies provides any insight into Marvel’s future plans, the fact that the God of Mischief name-dropped Amora, Absorbing Man, and Hercules is interesting.
In the case of the latter character, Hercules was seemingly being primed as the next great Thor antagonist. The inclusion of Enchantress and Absorbing Man, meanwhile, shows how much fertile ground Marvel can explore in the Thor universe.
