Marvel’s ‘Vision’ Series Adds Ruaridh Mollica

The Franchise’s Ruaridh Mollica will soon enter the Marvel Universe Cinematic Universe (MCU), as the actor has signed on for the upcoming Vision series.

According to a report from Deadline, Mollica will play a character named Tucker. He now joins Paul Bettany (Vision), James Spader (Ultron), Faran Tahir (Raza), and Todd Sashwick as the show’s principal cast.

The series will be overseen by Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas.

What We Know About ‘Vision’

A spinoff of 2012’s WandaVision, the upcoming Vision series will follow the story of Paul Bettany’s heroic android.

For those who don’t remember, Episode 8 of WandaVision introduced White Vision into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The second version of Vision was created by S.W.O.R.D and tasked with entering Westview and eliminating Wanda.

Eventually, however, a confrontation occurs between White Vision and the Vision created by Wanda’s magic and grief. During their battle, Wanda’s Vision transfers his memories into White Vision. Remembering who he is, White Vision declares. “I am Vision,” before flying away.

The Vision series was initially going to be helmed by WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer before she stepped away to focus on Agatha All Along.

When Will the Series Debut?

At this time, Marvel has not announced when the Vision series will debut on Disney+. Shooting, however, is expected to begin this year.

“We’re cooking up something that I’m really excited about,” Bettany teased last year.
