Krysten Ritter Is Returning as Jessica Jones For ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
Now that Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 has come to an end, fans are already starting to look ahead to Season 2.
As a quick recap, the Daredevil revival concluded with Wilson Fisk consolidating power in New York City and declaring martial law. Knowing that he does not have the capabilities to take down Kingpin alone, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock tells Karen Page that he is going to “need an army.”
Today, one member of that army has been revealed.
Jessica Jones Is Coming Back
Charlie Cox took the stage at Disney’s upfront presentation today to announce that Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

The actress, who starred in her own series and Netflix’s The Defenders, has long been open about her willingness to return to her iconic role.
“It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and ‘The Defenders’ and now joining the MCU,” Ritter said. “I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”

Will the Defenders Reassemble?
With Ritter back in the fold, it seems likely that Daredevil will recruit some version of the Defenders in the next season of Born Again. With less than a year to go until the series returns, we should learn more soon.
