The New Mutants Drive-in Screenings at the Rose Bowl
Drive-in Screenings are making a comeback
The New Mutants drive-in screenings start at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, CA today. Drive-in movie options are great options for people that still want to get out and enjoy a flick, but want to do so in the safety of their own vehicles. The movie viewing style of years past is also a great way to use abandoned entertainment spaces and stimulate the entertainment industry.
In a Tweet, the Rose Bowl Stadium announced that the long awaited and much delayed film will be part of their drive in series. For anyone in CA, you can go to the drive in for $35 per car. Tickets are available on the Rose Bowl Drive-In website and the movie will run from today through September 13.

The national historic monument is the home field of the UCLA Bruins and has hosted 5 Super Bowl games. Recently, the space has been repurposed into a dive-in theater for other feature movies like Bridesmaids and Meet the Parents.
The New Mutants is here (about time)
After many delays, The New Mutants is finally hitting theaters. Between studio acquisition deals, reshooting that never happened, and a global pandemic, it’s had a long road to the big screen. We recently reported that film critics won’t review the movie unless Disney provides digital screening links or press only screenings.
