Mid-Season: Is John Walker the Big Bad Sneak Peak?
Marvelous True Believers, have you been tuning in to Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+? The most recent episode dropped just last week, Friday, April, 9th, 2021, and we don’t know about you, but our ears are still ringing from the vibranium assassination at the end of “The Whole World Is Watching.”
And it doesn’t seem like John Walker’s (Wyatt Russell) bad decisions are going to stop anytime soon if the the mid-season sneak peak from Marvel Studios is accurate. See for yourself below.
The Whole World Is Watching
So yeah… The last time we saw John Walker he was murdering an unarmed innocent in the street while the whole world was watching. And in the mid-season sneak peak, it appears that a little thing like MURDER hasn’t really changed his perspective on his own morality.
Maybe instead of insisting he is Captain America, he should insist that he is Hannibal Lecter. Although to be fair to Hannibal, he would never do anything as rash and unmeasured as John Walker, a.k.a. my super power is breaking-and-entering.
In the mid-season sneak peak, he even reiterates it: ” A word of advice then: Stay the hell out of my way.”
Yeah, John Walker loves to barge into places where he’s not wanted. He will barrel through any person, hero, or villain to get what he wants. Americana style.
The Mid-Season Sneak Peak
Acknowledging that the legacy of the Shield is complicated, the mid-season sneak-peak sets up a battle for the heat and soul of America, with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) on a mission to take back Cap’s symbol.
In the final two episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it appears that Wilson and Barnes are going on a mission to take back the Shield.
Wilson reiterates, “Shield or no shield, I’m not going to let anybody tell me I can’t fight for it.” Are you ready for it?
