Wyatt Russell Teases Chris Evans Hype Spot
In an interview with Wyatt Russell, it was possibly teased that Steve Rogers himself, Chris Evans, might make an appearance in the final two episodes of the first season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+!
While the interview certainly didn’t explicitly confirm that Evans will be appearing, you can tell that Russell – who plays the increasingly villainous John Walker on the series – is playing coy about something. But what?
An Appearance on the Final Page?
Is it possible that Evans could be making a shocking appearance in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? If so, then the final moments of the penultimate episode are the ideal time to do so!

Think of it this way: after Agatha unveiled herself in the final moments of WandaVision episode seven, the excitement of her appearance carried us through the week into episode eight. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier could replicate this excitement with a surprise appearance in the final moments of episode five.
However, what appearance could be more surprising than the original Captain America himself?
Cap’s Second Shield
The last time we saw Rogers, he was returning the Infinity Stones to their respective timelines in the epilogue of Avengers: Endgame (2019).
After disappearing into the time stream, an aged version of the Super Soldier appeared to hand Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) a version of the Captain America shield he apparently “borrowed” from another timeline (we have to wonder if the TVA is going to have something to say about that).
However, one point to remember: because of the nature of time travel, we have no idea how many years transpired between Rogers leaving with the stones and then reappearing with the shield, especially since the Super Soldier serum may slow the aging process!
This means that it’s possible that we will see Rogers in future, unreleased Marvel Cinematic Universe sense… that take place between Rogers leaving and reappearing on his personal timeline.
Time travel, folks!
