Malcolm Spellman Says Captain America 4 Incoming
Happy Friday Marvel Blog True Believers! We have plenty of exciting news afoot today in the Marvel Multiverse, and one of the most exciting announcements involves a future Marvel Cinematic Universe movie: Captain America 4 is incoming. We repeat: Captain America 4 is incoming, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman is returning to continue the timely story, according to an article in the Hollywood Reporter.
If you haven’t had a chance to see the new episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, “One World, One People,” then you’ll want to leave this page immediately to avoid spoilers. Perhaps you’d like to learn more about another upcoming MCU project, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, arriving in time for the holidays in 2022.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (con’t)
In addition to carrying on the story we saw in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which saw Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) stepping into the role of Captain America with a brand-new costume (courtesy of Wakanda), Captain America 4 will be co-written by one of the Disney+ show’s staff writers, Dalan Musson.
Musson was credited with writing the fifth episode of the season, which suggests some very exciting possibilities for the movie. For example, we can’t help but suspect we haven’t seen the last of John Walker (Wyatt Russell), A.K.A. U.S. Agent.
Here at Marvel Blog, we’re hoping we get to see more of Sarah Wilson (Adepero Oduye) and her delicious-looking cooking, as well!
Plus, this would give us a chance to see more of Captain America’s nephews calling him “Uncle Sam,” which will always be funny for us.
