REVIEW: Falcon and the Winter Soldier Collectors Bag Clips from Monogram
Are you looking for a fun, cute accessory that will let anyone know that you’re a fan of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+? Check out these super cute The Falcon and the Winter Soldier collectors bag clips from Monogram International, Inc.!
Be careful, Marvel Blog True Believers: there are some spoilers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier included in this set, so you may want to navigate elsewhere if you’d like to avoid that… but remember, all six episodes of the sophomore streaming Marvel Cinematic Universe series are currently available on Disney+, so you can just watch those and come back later!
Plenty of Marvel Swagger
These Monogram International The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 3D foam collectors bag clips retail for about $5.99, and come one each to a blind bag. That means that you won’t know which one of the heroes or villains you’ve gotten until you’ve bought the blind bag and opened it for yourself! However, as anyone who has purchased one of these blind bag toys before, the surprise is half of the fun.
There are 11 total possible characters, including 4 versions of our hero, Sam Wilson!
Monogram International licensed bag clips include a plain “Sam Wilson” with the shield, a Sam Wilson as Captain America with his wings retracted, and the secret bonus version – Sam Wilson as Captain America with his new Wakanda-built wings!
In addition to these three Sams, all of which hold the titular Captain America shield, there is also a version of Sam Wilson as Falcon (with his wings extended, of course). For maximum fun, you’ll want to make sure to attach the Sam Wilson as Falcon bag clip to the left side of your running bag (get it? “On your left!”).
In addition to our main hero, Sam Wilson, there are also several other heroes included in this collection! At Marvel Blog, two of our favorite items from the collection include the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes himself, as well as Ayo, the Dora Milaje member who comes to retrieve Zemo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
But What About the Bad Guys?
The villains get plenty of rep in this set, too! First up is Big Daddy Dancer himself, Baron Zemo.
And you’ll want to make sure you stretch before you go jumping with Batroc the Leaper!
Speaking of Batroc, as those who watched all six episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier know, he was in league with Sharon Carter! In honor of her supervillain debut, Monogram’s bag clip featuring Sharon Carter has a nice splash of color thanks to her adorable green jacket… Hail Hydra!
Finally, the biggest problem of the season, John F. Walker, gets two different outfits: one is his “Captain America” uniform, which includes the titular shield (or is that the homemade version with Walker’s welded medals), and one is his black uniform.
John Walker in his black uniform is the second surprise bag clip, which means you get Walker in the uniform you see him wear in the season finale… the uniform of U.S. Agent!
Cute, Durable Accessories
In addition to being adorable on the front, each of these The Falcon and the Winter Soldier collectors bag clips from Monogram International also have cute designs on the back. I especially liked the back of the Sam Wilson figures, which give you a glimpse of the backside of the Captain America shield (and in several cases, Sam’s super-cool wing backpacks).
John Walker also has some especially cool detail on the back of his figure, as does Ayo.
Each of the collector bag clips has a solid connection between the clip and the figure. However, if you want to bring your collector bag clip with you on an extended adventure (perhaps to visit Avengers Campus), you may want to replace the easy-to-open plastic clip with a more durable key chain.
That being said, I have a Scarlet Witch from Monogram’s Captain America: Civil War (2016) key chain set that’s lasted a long time, and is still on one of my purses.
Available All Over
Which one of these cute Monogram collector bag clips is my favorite? All four Sam Wilsons are amazing, especially the two in full Cap regalia, but I have a special place in my heart for Ayo. As you can see, I may have already given her pride of place on my purse!
Are you going to pick up one of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier collector bag clips, available wherever Marvel merch is sold? Which one of the 11 possible characters are you hoping you pull? Did you manage to collect them all?
