More Marvel Comics WHAT IF…? On the Way!
In an article by George Marston over at GamesRadar+, a report revealed that Chip Zdarsky will be returning to the world of “What If…?” for more unbelievable parallel universe stories! And, at Marvel Blog, all we have to say is… SCORE!

According to the article, the news was revealed on this week’s episode of the weekly This Week In Marvel podcast (click through the link to listen for yourself), where Marvel Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski stated that Zdarksy already crafted plans for his post-Spider’s Shadow “What If…?” story, and those plans have already been approved!

But Cebulski went on to reveal that that wasn’t the extent of the potential the publisher saw in the brand, stating that other creators were eyeing new “What If…?” stories as well.
Spider’s Shadow
As Marvel Blog True Believers are already aware, we’ve been providing in-depth coverage on the Spider-Man: Spider’s Shadow story. The parallel universe comic asks, “What If… Peter Parker kept the Venom symbiote?” Two issues in, we can officially say that the answer to that question is: “nothing good!”

This limited series was originally four issues, but as reported by Chris Arrant over at GamesRadar+, the run was expanded from four issues to five issues a couple weeks after the first issue was released! Thanks for being so on-the-ball, GamesRadar+!

That means you have a few weeks to catch up with Spider’s Shadow first two issues before the third of five issues is released in mid-June… and once this series is completed, who knows what corner of the Marvel Universe will be What If’d by Zdarsky next!
