Super Hero Strength: BRIE LARSON Crushes Pull-Ups!
In an article on the Prevention website, the incredible strength of Brie Larson, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s one and only Captain Marvel, was put on full display when the actor totally crushed three one-armed pull-ups!
Brie Larson Enters Superheroic Beast Mode
Larson is no stranger to posting about her superheroic strength online.
Last year, she and her trainer for Captain Marvel, Jason Walsh, secretly climbed the second highest point in Wyoming, Grand Teton, after he challenged her. The duo took part in six months of preparation for the undertaking, which they commemorated via a short film.
And that’s far from all of the talented actress’s work-out-related accomplishments off the MCU screen: in March of 2019, Inside Edition posted this video footage of Larson doing pushups in spite of being wrapped in heavy metal chains and single-handedly pulling a Jeep (yes, you read that correctly – please, watch this video).
More Than Just Carol
Plus, Larson has associated herself with a super strong non-Marvel Comics character: Samus Aran, the bounty hunter who is the star of the Metroid games from Nintendo.
In 2018, she dressed up as the Zero-Suit version of the character for Halloween.
And, there was some pretty significant reaction to the costume from Brie stans – for some background, just read this article from Digital Spy.
But it wasn’t just Brie stans who were excited about the actress’s fan casting of herself as Samus in the Metroid movie. In fact, superstar Marvel artist BossLogic even contributed his own fan-art of Larson as Aran:

Is this as close as we’re getting to a Metroid movie? Larson – and Marvel Blog – has higher hopes:
I hope not. I want to make that movie. https://t.co/6ZneOLu2Wh

Samus Aran IS A SHE
