Chris Pratt: GUARDIANS VOL. 3 Filming Later This Year
In an article posted on Variety, it was confirmed by Star-Lord series actor Chris Pratt that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would begin filming later this year. Theme park lovers this also means that the new scenes for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at the Walt Disney World Resort will be filmed soon!

In the interview, Pratt went on to mention how much he enjoyed working with Taika Waititi on the set of Thor: Love & Thunder, which will feature appearances by the Guardians of the Galaxy, including Pratt’s Star-Lord, and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, who may actually be the team’s leader after the events of Avengers: Endgame (look, “Asgardians of the Galaxy” is already a thing in the 616, Marvel Blog True Believers).

Pratt spoke with Variety at the premiere for “The Tomorrow War,” which took place on June 30th, 2021 at Banc of California Stadium.
Pratt emphasized what a joy it was to work with Waititi, who he said brings an amazing energy to the set, constantly making jokes with the cast and crew.

“You can’t believe he’s the director,” said Pratt, who also mentioned that he does not believe in aliens (yes, he seriously mentioned this, check out the article link in the first paragraph… Pratt apparently spent a lot of time pontificating on his beliefs with Variety).

Pratt went on to say how much he enjoyed working with “rock star” directors like Waititi and James Gunn, who will be directing the upcoming GotG Vol. 3.

At this point, Gunn and Pratt have worked together quite a lot, and not just on the two Guardians movies that have been released before!
The pair also collaborated on the scenes you experience when riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, the ride at Disney’s California Adventure that gives you the chance to help the Guardians escape from the Collector!
