Loki Army Variants
Ahead of the release of the final episode of Loki this Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, Marvel Studios’ has unveiled five new character posters, each featuring a different Loki Variant.
On Monday, July 12th, 2021, the official Loki Twitter account tweeted, “These Lokis? Legendary. Prepare for the finale of Marvel Studios’ #Loki with the first five episodes, now streaming on @DisneyPlus.” And Loki Twitter followed it up with a series of posters featuring most our favorite Loki Variants, including Classic Loki (played Richard E. Grant) and Boastful Loki (played by Deobia Oparei).

Classic Loki and Boastful Loki aren’t the only Variants to get the poster treatment. The new poster debut also included a poster for President Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston), Kid Loki (played by Jack Veal), and of course the indomitable Alligator Loki (played by himself, and apparently one of the best actors on set).

Loki Army, not convinced he was one of the best actors on set, check out this post from Loki producer Eric Martin about the joys of working with a stuffed alligator – actors are just so malleable when they are stuffed animals! Plus, they’re great at the “Get Help” game!

According to Loki army head writer, Michael Waldron, he had to fight for the inclusion of Alligator Loki, and Marvel Blog True Believers, we’re all the better for it. He told ComicBook.com that:
We were talking about [how] we want to meet many different versions of Loki in this show. I was just like, there should be an Alligator Loki. And it’s like, well, why? For all we know, that’s an alligator universe or whatever. It’s just the sort of irreverent thing that, in this show, we play straight and make the audience take it seriously.

Director Kate Herron has also gotten in on the fun, tweeting, “I think we’re stronger than we realise followed by the adorable kawaii hashtags designed by 100% Soft.
However, those weren’t the only new posters released in advance of the season finale of Loki on Disney+! The studio also released an artist’s rendition (but with no artist attached to the tweet) of the the Loki Variants coming together for a finale time.
