Marvel Trading Cards Are Back at Gamestop!

Hasbro recently released an exciting new line of Marvel Legends Super Villains figures. If that’s not exciting enough, GameStop just announced a new promotion that said with a purchase of one of the new figures, fans will get a free pack of Upper Deck Marvel trading cards.

Marvel Trading Cards

The Marvel Legends Super Villain Series, which was first announced back in February 2021, will come with a pack of Upper Deck trading cards.

When you purchase a Marvel Legends figure at a participating GameStop, the store will throw in a free card pack of Upper Deck trading cards. Each card pack contains a single collectible foil card featuring a Marvel villain.

This isn’t the first time that Marvel has used trading cards as an incentive. Back in the 90s, there were Impel Marvel Universe trading cards featuring different categories, such as Super Heroes, Villains, Famous Battles, Rookies, and Team Pictures. Then, there was also the 2001 Marvel Legends Trading Card that came with the Marvel Legends: Legendary Rider series.

The Hasbro Marvel Legends new series of figures features Doctor Doom, Dormammu, Red Skull, Lady Deathstrike, The Hood, A.I.M. Scientist Supreme, and Arcade.

Through the purchase of an action figure at GameStop, Marvel fans will be able to work on collecting the full 15 piece set, as well as the rare foil parallel cards that relate to the Legends figures. Furthermore, if you collect the full set, you’ll get the build-a-figure of Xemnu.

Each one of these new figures (except for the Red Skull, who is only available in store) is available to purchase online at GameStop.com.
