TECH-ON AVENGERS: Marvel & Tamashii Nations Team-Up!
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Thursday, July 1st, 2021, a new collaboration between our favorite comic book publisher and Tamashii Nations was unveiled! The Tech-On Avengers characters feature new technology, and brand new designs from some of manga’s biggest names. And if you can’t get enough of these super stylish superhero designs, never fear, Marvel Blog True Believers: there are action figures heading your way, too!

Tech-On Avengers
The new Tech-On Avengers line will feature heroes such as Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Spider-Man, joining forces against villains like Loki, Red Skull, and Venom in a tokusatsu-inspired action-adventure series.

The Tech-On Avengers story will be told in a tie-in comic, with the first issue, written by Jim Zub, with art by Jeff “Chamba” Cruz and covers by Eiichi Shimizu, arriving August 11th, 2021. Zub is the perfect candidate to write this story, having previously worked on books like Marvel’s Zombies Assemble manga in 2017 alongside Yusaku Komiyama and Travis Lanham.

The story takes place a year after the Avengers have defeated Thanos. But, in the wake of the Mad Titan are mysterious particles left behind because of his use of the Infinity Stones. Soon, Red Skull gets a hold of some of these particles, and you just know that he will use them to cause problems, Marvel Blog True Believers!

Awesome Figures Assemble
The Tech-On Avengers comic will introduce readers to brand new experimental technology designed by none other than Tony Stark himself! Marvel promises that the new suits will be sleek, high-tech, and bristling with energy!
In partnership with Bandai Spirits of Japan, Marvel will also be releasing a new S.H.Figuarts action figure line inspired by the Tech-On Avengers comic. The action figures will also be designed by Shimizu, who has extensive experience as a manga artist creating stylish heroes.

Additionally, according to Marvel, “a new mechanism was devised from the ground up for this series to create a new action that has never been seen before.” For toy lovers, that means that these figures will feature a brand new DH-10 mode device, designed for this line, and reflected in accessories that can be exchanged in order to activate the special mode.
