Abrams Children’s Books Announces ‘Magnificent Women of Marvel’
In a post made to the official Marvel website on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, a new batch of Marvel books geared towards preschool readers was unveiled. These books, which will be published by Abrams Books, include Magnificent Women of Marvel and a set of My Mighty Marvel First Books featuring some of the biggest heroes in the Marvel Universe!
Magnificent Women of Marvel
First up is Magnificent Women of Marvel, written by Evie Daye and illustrated by Paulina Ganucheau. I’m especially excited about this book because my wall is decorated with a framed variant cover of Captain Phasma #1 by Ganucheau, featuring one of the most magnificent women in the Star Wars galaxy, Captain Phasma.
Magnificent Women of Marvel will be published on December 7th, 2021, and can be purchased anywhere books are sold for $16.99.
This book will feature lots of interactivity, a feature that’s great for the active young reader. Learn more about the most powerful and intelligent women in the Marvel Universe, like Scarlet Witch, Shuri, and Ghost Spider, all while popping out figures of the characters and arranging them in a fun display.
My Mighty Marvel First Books
In addition to Magnificent Women of Marvel, there are also more entries on the way in the My Mighty Marvel First Books line, which already features entries on characters like Spider-Man and Black Widow.
For example, on January 25th, 2022, Doctor Strange will get an entry, exploring his inter-dimensional adventures in a fun and accessible way through art by legendary artist Steve Ditko.
And then, on February 22, 2022, Thor will get his own My Mighty Marvel First Book as well.
