Earth’s Mightiest: Captain America/Iron Man Team-Up!
In a Tweet sent on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021, the official Marvel Twitter account released the Alex Ross cover for Captain America/Iron Man #1 by Derek Landy and Ángel Unzueta, arriving at your local comic shop on November 24th, 2021.

Captain America/Iron Man #1
The story begins when a Hydra asset (who used to be a government agent) escapes on her way to prison, which seizes the attention of both Cap and Iron Man. It seems that both Steve Rogers and Tony Stark have a personal connection to this individual, and if that’s not complicated enough, she isn’t even the only major player on the board!
According to Landy, the writer for the series, he’s been working his way through omnibuses of old Marvel Comics since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

“Little did I know that this was actually a prolonged bout of diligent and thorough research for which I should be roundly admired—nay lauded,” Landy told Marvel.com in the official announcement of the series. Unzueta, the artist on the five-issue Captain America/Iron Man miniseries, told Marvel.com that drawing the pair of Earth’s mightiest heroes fulfilled a lifelong aspiration: “For me, it’s a dream come true to draw Iron Man and Captain America. They are my two favorite characters in the Marvel Universe (in and out of costume).”
