LARSON: THE MARVELS Set is a “Private Disneyland”
In a interview with Sirius XM, Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) confirmed that The Marvels was currently being filmed. Better yet, she gave a hint at the scale of the production, describing the large, crowded sets as her own “private Disneyland”!

Her Own Private Disneyland
“Huge sets, lots of people on set,” said Larson. “I’m a huge fan of Disneyland, so it feels to me like I get to go to my own private Disneyland every single day.”

But as Larson noted, her private Disneyland will not stay private forever: soon, we will all get to enjoy the impressive sets!
The Marvels
The interview reveals that The Marvels is currently in production.
Also starring Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau) and Iman Vellini (Ms. Marvel), if the after-credits scene of WandaVision is any indication, The Marvels will fit into the Cosmic Marvel Cinematic Universe, alongside movies like Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 1 & Vol. 2.

This could mean that we’ll also be seeing more of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Not only did the legendary Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. play an essential supporting role in the first Captain Marvel movie, thanks to the after-credits scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home, we know that he’s out there among the stars in space, somewhere…
And perhaps all these details give us a clue about the nature of the sets described by Larson!
Arriving in November 2022
The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman) and based on a script by Megan McDonnell (WandaVision). It is scheduled for release in theaters on November 11th, 2022.
