Hawkeye Trailer Released!
We woke up to a surprise this morning! Not only do we now have a trailer for Hawkeye, but a new poster and release date as well.
A Very Hawkeye Holiday
The series is set to premiere on November 24 on Disney+. It appears to take place during the Holiday season, and the trailer makes clear that it is going to be a MCU Christmas adventure.
You may view the trailer below.
Hawkeye will make its debut after the release of Eternals, but before Spider-Man: No Way Home. This begs the question… what impact will this series have on the MCU’s future?
Get Ready for Action!
The series will clearly focus on Barton working to face his complicated past. Fans will recall his alter ego, Ronin, making his presence known between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Hawkeye will take place after the events of Endgame. While we watch Barton come to terms with Ronin’s actions (in time to make it home for the Holidays), we will meet a new MCU hero. Kate Bishop is the second person and first female to take up the Hawkeye name.
The trailer makes clear that viewers will have to buckle up for some serious action!
Cast & Crew
Hawkeye will feature Jeremy Renner reprising his role as Clint Barton. Hailee Steinfeld will co-star, appearing as Kate Bishop.
Additional actors that will appear include Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and Alaqua Cox. Reprising her role from Black Widow, Florence Pugh will also appear as Yelena Belova.
Created by Jonathan Igla, who is known for his work on Mad Men, Hawkeye will be directed by Rhys Thomas, along with the duo Bert and Bertie.
Finally, a New Poster..
Topping off today’s trailer release, Marvel has also revealed a poster teasing the series.
This is exciting news to start the week! Are you excited for Hawkeye?
