Deadpool: Samurai
According to the description on Amazon’s pre-order page for the English translation Deadpool: Samurai, the story will see the Merc with a Mouth moving to Toyko, Japan, after he accepts a position in the Samurai Squad (one offered by Iron Man, of all people). But soon, his ample pile of personal baggage causes some familiar faces to object to his presence on the team! Can Wade survive meeting new heroes, attending raucous concerts, and battling against (checks notes) gods?
You’ll find the answers to those questions (and so much more) in the pages of Deadpool: Samurai by Sanshiro Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi when it arrives next spring.
This is only one of the upcoming Marvel titles from VIZ Media, which will also be releasing Marvel Meow, a manga that’s all about Captain Marvel’s pet Flerken! In this comic by Nao Fuji, Goose gets up to all kinds of shenanigans, giving you a Flerken-eye view of the Marvel Universe!
In fact, Marvel Meow will be published tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12th, 2021. Will you be picking up a copy, Marvel Blog True Believers? I know I will!
And if you’re looking for more Marvel adventures set in Japan, well, look no further than Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, arriving on Hulu. In this story, a monkey becomes a hitman in Tokyo!
