New Hawkeye Clip Teases Hailee Steinfeld’s Archer
In a Tweet sent on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, the official Marvel Twitter account posted a clip from the highly-anticipated upcoming Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Hawkeye.

With an arrow-based aesthetic that calls to mind the 2012 Hawkeye run by David Aja and Matt Fraction – not to mention individual shots that evoke specific issues of said run – this clip is yet another reminder that this show is going to be the only thing anyone’s talking about as we close out 2021!

The clip includes dialogue from both Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). Bishop tells Barton that some people have called her the World’s Greatest Archer, and when Barton asks her if one of those people was her, she nods.

Well you know what, old man Hawkeye? Let me just go on record and say it here: Kate Bishop is the Marvel Universe’s greatest archer! In addition to the dialogue, the clip also features shots of a car chase involving the Tracksuit Draculas (not actual vampires, just greedy human jerks) featuring trick arrows, which heavily evokes the third issue of the 2015 run.
