New ‘Hawkeye’ Featurette Confirms Classic Hawkeye Costume Hidden in Episode 2!
For a studio, so synonymous with their use of easter eggs, it appears a huge one went completely unnoticed, as a brand new Hawkeye featurette has confirmed Classic Hawkeye costume hidden in Episode 2!
With Hawkeye debuting to a fantastic two-episode premiere and carrying that over with an exceptional 3rd episode, it is clear that Marvel’s newest series has continued the MCU level of excellence.
Following one of the original six Avengers through a very human, very grounded story, has paid dividends of the MCU; with Hawkeye reignited much of the storytelling lightning that was captured during Marvel’s days of collaborating with Netflix.
One of the coolest things that set Marvel apart, however, is their relentless use of easter eggs to add to the level of immersion within their various projects.
Whether they be easter eggs that call back to various comic book storylines, or past MCU films, you can never find all of them in just one sitting.
And it appears a massive Hawkeye easter egg just went completely unnoticed.
A brand new featurette released by Marvel studios points to the always Classic Hawkeye costume hidden in the second episode of the series; or more notably, in the LARPing sequence.
Far and away one of the funnier moments thus far in the series, Clint must confront a LARPer who has taken up the Ronin suit for his conquest.
What Clint finds is a one-of-a-kind community, and a bit of fun, on his way to regaining the suit that has caused him so much trouble; and it appears as though the classic Hawkeye suit was also hiding in the background.
The Classic Hawkeye suit looks fantastic and harkens back to something similar that Marvel has done in the past; something like a running joke with the franchise.
Like Hawkeye, Many will remember when Captain Amerca’s comic book accurate suit and shield, during his tour of military support shows; and one of the coolest moments of WandaVision was seeing Wanda Maximoff and Vision don their signature comic book accurate looks during a Halloween episode.
Hopefully, we get more of these funny, classic comic book easter eggs, for more heroes in the future; while getting a closer look at Hawkeyes comic accurate suit on the new series was a treat for fans who missed it!
