Taika Waititi Debunks Recently Revealed ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Poster; Is He Telling the Truth?
A development that gave all of us an inside look at just what to expect out of the fourth installment of Thor’s MCU saga, it appears as though Taika Waititi debunks the recent poster making the rounds.
With many fans viewing the recently revealed poster as the first, definitive look that we’ve gotten at the newest Thor film, it appears that the movie’s director has urged everyone to continue with caution debunking the legitimacy of the poster.

Answering a tweet that displayed the full image that was located in the leaked promotional poster, Waititi spoke against it being considered the official poster for the film in a way that only Waititi really can.
With the poster displaying some of the pinnacle characters of the franchise in ways that we have yet to see as an audience, many fans couldn’t understand how the poster was fake.
This is so bad that I kinda wish it was an official poster. It's definitely what I would have done if I was in charge of posters. https://t.co/OnW7K2ubo3

As Taika Waititi debunks the recently revealed poster, the question that remains: is he telling the truth?
The reality is that the images on the poster both match some behind the scenes images that we’ve seen of the production and have details that seem too intricate to be faked.

The poster displays what appears to be the same outfits on Thor and Mighty Thor that we have seen in leaked crew shirts released earlier this year.
Even the redesign of Korg matches what Taika himself wore in-character as Korg in the image celebrating the end of principle photography.

This combined with the shattered appearance of Mjolnir, as well as Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder (the goat characters), and it all seems a little too detailed and unique to be faked.
Could it be faked? Absolutely. Our most likely guess, however, is that Taika is telling a half-truth.

The poster may not be the official first poster, but the reality is that it must have come from people developing the official first poster for the film.
