Meet The Real Lucky the Pizza Dog
One of the most interesting and well-received Disney+ series was none other than Hawkeye, as a brand new featurette introduces fans of the series to one of its most iconic characters, as they can meet the real Lucky the Pizza Dog.
2021 marked Marvel’s first foray into the arena of long-form storytelling, with episodic series used to explore some of the most iconic characters in the Marvel canon.
One of the most interesting of these series is Hawkeye, a story that explores Clint Barton’s quest for retirement, and Kate Bishop’s introduction into the world of superheroism
The series was grounded, action-packed, and as funny as any Marvel story, but what set it apart was the incredible cast of colorful characters that filled nearly every episode.
From Clint himself to the wildly funny and magnetic Kate Bishop, the dangerous and charismatic return of Yelena Belova, the menacing and threatening Echo, the hilarity of the Tracksuit Mafia, or the comedic relief of characters like the LARPers or Jaques Duquesne.
Yet, one character seemed to steal the hearts of the entire Marvel fandom from their very first appearance on the series, and that is none other than Lucky the Pizza Dog.
Lucky is a stray dog that is rescued by Kate Bishop early on in the series, and over the course of the six episodes, becomes a sort of mascot for the entire adventure.
A beautiful golden retriever with a heart of gold and a love of Pizza, Lucky quickly became a fan favorite for all Marvel fans.
A brand new featurette from Hawkeye and VFX Supervisor Greg Steele allows fans to meet the real Lucky the Pizza Dog.
Portrayed by a canine actor named Jolt, Lucky did all of her own stunts, and was appeared in every Lucky scene in the film, never being replicated via CGI or special effects.

It speaks ot the talent of Jolt herself, who was beloved in her scenes as Lucky; with her acting job on Hawkeye coming with the added benefit of eating as much Pizza as she could muster.
