Accepted: Eva Quintero Spotted at Strange Academy
In a Tweet sent on Friday, January 21st, 2022, Marvelous writer Terry Blas shared an image that appears to reveal that Eva Quintero has officially been enrolled in Strange Academy!

Quintero was first introduced in Reptil (2021) by Blas, Enid Balám, Victor Olazaba, Carlos Lopez, and Joe Sabino, with a cover by Paco Medina and Federico Blee.

Over the course of the four issues in that series, we saw her begin to develop her magical powers (although there were some limitations along the way).

Then, in the Marvel’s Voices: Comunidades story “Just as Strange as You” by Blas, Julius Ohta, Erick Arciniega, and Ariana Maher, we saw that Quintero had been accepted at Strange Academy and was traveling (via a portal she made herself using her steadily improving skills) to New Orleans!

However, Blas himself took to Twitter to see if series artist Humberto Ramos will confirm whether or not we had already gotten our first glimpse of Quintero at Strange Academy thanks to a panel from Strange Academy #15 (also by Skottie Young, Edgar Delgado, and Clayton Cowles).

Just yesterday, Marvel Blog reported that Strange Academy would be returning for a second semester in summer 2022, and we said we hoped that Quintero would be a student there when it began…
