Marvel Debuts Brand New Ant-Man Design; and Fans are Loving It!
In a recent reveal for an upcoming solo run for the character, Marvel debuts a brand new Ant-Man design; and fans are absolutely loving it!
There are few characters as interesting as Marvel’s Ant-Man; a character that had consistently been one of the more obscure Marvel creations until his appearance within the MCU reignited love from the fandom and produced a brand new kind of love for the pint-sized hero.
Most commonly associated with Hank Pym- with the MCU version of the character being Paul Rudd’s fantastic portrayal as Scott Lang- The character is appeared to be facing an awesome upgrade for a very special birthday!
That’s right, Ant-Man is celebrating his 60th anniversary, and he’s using that occasion to bring fans a new outfit that’s quite unlike anything they’ve seen from the character.

With the duo of writer Al Ewing and artist Tom Reilly, the brand new Ant-Man #1 gave fans a first look at what they can expect with Reilly premiering the design for the upcoming Ant-Man reimagining.

In a world of instant love or hatred, fans seemed to instantly take to the new design, with the response coming in waves from Twitter; with most fans sharing their love for the new design and the character’s fresh new take.
There's so much I love about this. Has shades of Kamen Rider, Radiant Black and a bit of Tom Whalen's aesthetic yet also feels wholly fresh and yet instantly recognisable as Ant-Man.

The sleek black and red design make beautiful use of minimalistic ideas, and seems to be slightly inspired by Kamen Riders; a Japanese superhero whose design was crafted to mimic various insects.
The inspiration is fitting and we cannot wait to see how Reilly and Ewing utilize this new design to bring us the brand new Ant-Man of the future!
