Brand New ‘Secret Invasion’ Set Photo’s Promise a Vital MCU Series
The beauty of Marvel’s continued progression is the necessity for their in-development projects to remain a secret; yet, we still are in the dark with brand new Secret Invasion set photo’s only promising a vital MCU series.
As has been the status quo for recent entries into Marvel’s genre-defining Phase Four, leaks and reports always seem to provide more questions than answers; and recent reveals from the upcoming Secret Invasion only offer more of the same.
With Moon Knight just on the horizon, and fans anxiously awaiting the release of shows like Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk, Secret Invasion has been steadily filming in the UK for the early parts of this year.
With Samuel Jackson returning to his iconic role of Nick Fury, and other former S.H.I.E.L.D agents also joining the fray, the series has seemed to focus on the Skrull species, and what could be the fallout of their 20-year presence on the planet.
With so much unknown, we remain without answers despite brand new Secret Invasion set photos that promise nothing more than a vital MCU series.
The Disney+ series has often been considered to be a canvas for which Marvel can explore the character of Nick Fury- as many of their episodic projects have shifted from establishing the universe to studying the various character.
Yet, if the recent set leaks are any indication, we are going to get a series that is vital for the development of the MCU as a whole; likely in the vein of WandaVision or Loki.
One of the revealed set photos shows off a brand new alien species that are unknown to MCU fans; with it likely being attached to the antagonist of the film, presumed to be a member of the Skrull race.

What is also clearly seen in the leaked set photos is a newspaper headline indicating there is something brewing with the character of James Rhodes.
Better known to Marvel fans as War Machine, Don Cheadles Rhodey is set to be the star in Marvels Armor Wars; a series still in pre-production that will deal with a conflict involving Tony Starks armor that was left behind after his death.
If we know Marvel Studios, its that nothing is placed in the background on accident, and it appears as though this newspaper headline may serve as the first indication of what awaited fans for the upcoming Armor Wars; and we cannot wait to see what that will be when we finally get Secret invasion.
