James Gunn Calls Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special “Greatest Thing I’ve Ever Done”
The brain behind one of the best franchises of the current MCU has fans in for a treat, as James Gunn calls the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special the, “greatest thing I’ve ever done.”
There are few franchises in the history of the MCU that have meant more to the current state of the interconnected film universe than Guardians of the Galaxy.

Everything from the Cosmic aesthetic, classic songs from previous generations, and unique comedy have bled into the various MCU films to become a part of future projects such as Loki and Thor: Ragnarok.
With the incoming Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 seems to be the end of an era for the Gunn-created franchise, fans are anxiously awaiting what should be next for installment in the holiday slated Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.

The mastermind behind the entire franchise believes he may have a winner in the upcoming project, as he spoke highly about what he, and the creative team behind the special, have created.
In an interview with RadioTimes.com, James Gunn stated, “The holiday special is the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

The veteran director continued, “It’s totally ridiculous, and every day we can believe that we’re making it. We all completely love it. It is unlike anything that anyone has ever seen before. I can’t wait for people to see it.”
Gunn concluded by stating, “And It’s out pretty soon, You know, it’s out this Christmas. It’s not like people have to wait that long.”

It has been five years since the Guardian of the Galaxy team, and director James Gunn, have collaborated on a project; as the film is slated to be the incoming project reuniting Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, and Bradley Cooper in the Holiday Special.
After the Holiday Special debuts, fans can only wait for the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy as we know it is the final installment of this iteration of the team in the form of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
