Ryan Reynolds Confirms Fan-Favorite Character Returning for ‘Deadpool 3’
There is a palpable anticipate for the MCU’s continuation of the Deadpool franchise, it seems as though Ryan Reynolds confirms a fan-favorite character is returning for Deadpool 3.
Since Disney’s acquisition of Fox, many have anxiously awaited the inclusion of the various Fox characters to make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With all of the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, seeking a reimagining at Marvel Studios, only one character is set to carry over from the transition; that character is Deadpool.
Few comic book adaptations have so quickly found their own audience, and so earnestly endeared themselves to fans of the genre as Wade Wilson has.
In two films, he has become one of the most beloved characters in the comic book film genre, so much so, that he is slated to be the first Marvel- and Disney- a project to receive an R-Rating, keeping with the tradition of the raunchy characters nature.
Recent developments have pointed to the character’s first appearance in the MCU currently in development, with rumors hinting at Ryan Reynolds collaborator Shawn Levy being tasked to direct the film.
With the many rumors rolling in, it appears as though the man behind the film’s eponymous character has added to them, as Ryan Reynolds seemingly confirms a fan-favorite character is set to return for Deadpool 3; and that character is none other than Leslie Uggams Blind Al.
In a Tweet sent out by Uggams, the actress spoke very highly of Reynolds and Levy’s recently released film, The Adam Project, to which she offered glowing praise for her former costar.
Thank you, Leslie. See you soon ⚔️⚔️⚔️ https://t.co/1nQ9oeN4Wb

It was then when Reynolds himself responded to the tweet by stating “Thank you, Leslie. See you soon,” followed by three sword emojis.
This seems like a very obvious assurance that Lesli’s beloved character is all but guaranteed her character’s return in Deadpool 3, and we cannot wait to see her; she has become one of the best parts of those films for her fantastic chemistry with Reynolds.
