Funko Pops for Thor: Love and Thunder are Now Available for Pre-Order!
The Funko Pops for Thor: Love and Thunder are available for preorder! With the anticipation for Thor’s next film steadily on the rise, these Funko Pops give another glimpse at the variety of characters that will appear in the film!
The Thor: Love and Thunder wave of Funko Pops is set to contain 5 characters that will appear in the movie. These include Thor, Mighty Thor Jane Foster, King Valkriye, Gorr the God Butcher, Korg, and Miek! This mirrors the Marvel Legends wave that is also soon to be released.

The Funko Pops contain the usual Funko charm, standing at almost 4-inches in height and offering a unique take on the character designs taken directly from the movie. As revealed in the trailer which debuted this week, Thor and Jane Foster Thor are equipped with sturdy armor and the hammers Mjolnir and Stormbreaker.
We are also getting a much better look at certain new character designs such as Miek, Korg, and the primary antagonist Gorr. Miek’s is by far the fewest seen of the characters, debuting what looks to be a new cyborg body with strong feminine features matching the concept art posted by director Taika Waititi.

A Closer Look at Gorr The God Butcher
One of the most interesting designs for the Funko Pops is that of Gorr the God Butcherer. While we have seen the Marvel Legend of Gorr, the Funko Pop adds some extra details such as the base on which Gorr stands. Gorr is wielding his All-Black Necrosword, whether this necrosword will resemble the backstory of the comic or be a new one entirely is unknown.
In the comics, the sword was forged by Knull using the head of a celestial. Knull is a powerful figure in Marvel comics, most known for his creation of the symbiote race. The base of the Funko looks incredibly similar to symbiote tendrils used by characters such as Venom. Will the symbiotes tie into Gorr’s god-slaying weapon?

Thor: Love and Thunder Funko Pop exclusives will include a specialized metallic The Mighty Thor (without helmet) sold by Books-a-Million (BAM), a glow in the dark Mighty Thor Jane Foster sold by Pop in a Box, an exclusive 4-pack featuring Thor, Mighty Thor, Gorr, and Valkyrie sold by Walmart, and a Thor and Mighty Thor 2-pack sold by Target.
Additionally, while not an exclusive, a super deluxe pop featuring Thor with his “Goat Boat” pulled by his trusty steeds Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder will also be available for preorder. The special deluxe pop looks wonderful and fully captures the adorable features of Thor’s two goats!
