Promo Art For Love and Thunder Shows Amazing Comic Renditions
The Hammer-swinging antics of Thor will return for Love and Thunder in a few more months! While we’ve seen glimpses of merchandise revealed for the movie, Some amazing promo art for the characters in the film and New Asgard have surfaced online!
The promotional art for the upcoming Thor flick features both Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor and Thor Odinson. Additionally, the promo art includes Gorr facing off against both Thors and tourism art for promoting travel to New Asgard!

The first piece of promotional art features The Mighty Thor Jane Foster in a traditional flying Thor pose, breezing through the air as Mjolnir takes her to whatever destination she desires. We can visibly see the cracks in Mjolnir, and see with greater depth the intricate details in her armor.
The illustrator behind this piece of artwork is Russell Dauterman! Dauterman was the illustrator who joined forces with Jason Aaron to first debut Jane Foster’s Thor in Marvel comics in 2014! Seeing him return to give his rendition of Love and Thunder Mighty Thor is amazing!

The next promotional art piece features Thor launching Stormbreaker into the air with an electrifying swing! Again the piece of art gives us a better glimpse at the details within Thor’s armor.
This piece of promotional art was done by artist Olivier Coipel who has drawn past series such as The House of M and Thor (2007). Coipel has a very distinct style when it comes to Thor, often drawing a wider stockier Thor, with a broad head and chin.

The final two pieces of promotional art are faux comic covers. The first showcases a fight between Gorr and the two Thors, while the second mimics classic comic book covers but utilizes the designs and caricatures from Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Gorr artwork is particularly interesting as we get a further look at Gorr’s weapon. The weapon seems to exude similar black tendrils to his comic book counterpart, and as seen in Gorr’s Funko Pop, the weapon appears to be more than just the blade and may connect to symbiotes.
Promoting Tourism In New Asgard

One of the more interesting pieces of Promo art associated with the film is the tourism posters for New Asgard. Viewing certain points in the trailer we can see King Valkyrie sitting on what looks like some sort of council.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, it looks like audiences may learn more about what role New Asgard will play on earth. The tourism posters show a Viking ship promoting a tour while the other looks to be two goat heads, assumingly that of Toothgrinder and Toothgnasher.

Thor: Love and Thunder is only a few short months away! The Mighty Thor Jane Foster is making her return to the series, while other favorites such as Valkryie and Korg look to keep their substantial roles.
Who else might join Thor’s newest journey? Thor’s cherished brother Loki is a complete unknown, with even Tom Hiddleston unaware of if he is in the film. The film is sure to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters!
