The Marvel Cinematic Universe has easily become one of the biggest film franchises of all time, and with that impact comes tremendous influence, as multiple Marvel stars make their way on TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2022.

An industry that was decimated by the global wide pandemic, the MCU is what initiated the return to form for the box office, with the 2022 Spider-Man: No Way Home dominating in a way no film had in the past two years.
There is a level of success and prestige that has come from the pantheon of tremendously successful Marvel projects, such that has given a platform to some of the industry’s greatest creative visionaries and performers.

With some of the most revered persons in the world of entertainment, activism, and politics, Marvel has multiple people represented.

Among them are actors such as Andrew Garfield of Spider-Man fame, MCU newcomer Simu Liu, Kraven the Hunter actress Adriana Debose, Spider-Man performer Zendaya, and Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi.
The names listed are among the most important in the current landscape of the entertainment world, with Simu Liu’s role as Shang-Chi bringing a brand new era of representation for the current Marvel landscape, and Debose being the Academy Award winner just preparing for her Marvel career.

Taika Waititi is the incredibly creative and daring artist that breathed new life into the character of Thor, while Zendaya and Garfield were both massive parts of the biggest film of 2022, all while extending their career far outside of the Marvel umbrella to positively impact the industry as a whole.
The great thing about this overall turnout is that Marvel has not only chased incredibly creative minds, but they have offered a platform of influence that has been taken advantage of by these incredible artists.
