Sideshow Reveals Newest Premium Format Figure Captain Marvel
Known for their incredibly highly-intricate collectibles, Sideshow collectibles are now set to release a new Premium Format Figure Captain Marvel right as the new Ms. Marvel show is debuting!
First founded in 1994, Sideshow has established itself as a premium high-end manufacturer of absolutely stunning collectibles. The company produces action figures, statues, replica items, maquettes, busts, and a myriad of other pieces for many different pop culture brands originating from comics, movies, and video games.

The next installment in the Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Figure line is the Captain Marvel Premium Format Figure. While Sideshow classifies this as a figure it is certainly more apt to consider it as a statue. The dimensions, level of detail, and paint quality all elevate this figure to the level of prestigious art.
The polyresin figure stands at 23.75 inches tall with a width of 13.25 inches. This makes it quite the sizable figure that can take up a significant amount of space. Three Sideshow artists contributed to the final design; Steve Lord worked on the sculpture, Richard Luong on the design, and Kat Sapene for paint.

The astonishing figure beautifully portrays Captain Marvel’s current comic book iteration. Donning the suit that Carol Danvers first wore in Captain Marvel #1 (2012), the beautiful bright blues, reds, and golds absolutely pop off of the figure. The upper portions of the suit based in red and gold give a level of gleam that catches the eye.
Emitting from Captain Marvel’s hands are blasts of Photon energy that keep Danver’s floating in the air, quite literally the main portion of the Captain Marvel Figure is suspended in the air held up by the photon blast polyresin giving the surreal appearance of flight. The blasts converge to create a pulverized debris field at the base.

The Premium Format Figure Captain Marvel is currently available for pre-order on Sideshow Collectibles online store and will also be available for pre-order at other online retailers for the price of $625. The statue will ship during the spring of 2023 and collectors should pre-order promptly as the figure is a Limited edition with a limited run.
