Diamond Select Toys Releases Web Exclusive Venom (Blue) Mini-Bust
The Symbiote anti-hero Venom has almost 40 years of comic book history under his belt, now Diamond Select Toys is releasing a limited edition Diamond Select Toys mini-bust that highlights Venom’s classic blue comic book visage.
Diamond Select Toys is a prevalent manufacturer of collectibles and toys that was formed in 1999. Acquiring Art Asylum in 2007 and Gentle Giant Studios in 2019, the company has firmly established itself as a high-quality producer of action figures, statues, busts, and even replicas based on a myriad of comics and pop culture series.

The Venom mini-bust is simply an impeccable creation perfectly capturing the sinister and imposing presence of Venom. Rippling muscles cover Venom’s arms, chests, and remaining torso while shades of blue and black highlight Venom’s remarkable physique.
The base of the bust is covered in symbiote sludge, with the level of detail simply staggering. The symbiote base gives off the appearance of a gooey sticky slime that encapsulates everything it touches. Adding to Venom’s terrifying visage is his almost trademark tongue, sticking out and dripping with alien green slime.

The appearance used by the bust is that of the early comic book Venom. Early Venom utilized a color shading of blue and black. Often with the light source hitting venom and illuminating in a blue shade while any shadows were done in black.
The mini-bust is done in 1:6 scale and sculpted by artist Juan Pitluk while the design was created by Nelson X. Asencio. The mini-bust will have a very limited run with only 250 pieces being created. Each customer will be allowed a max purchase of 2 units with a price of $120.

The Venom mini-bust will be absolutely spectacular in any collector’s collection and will draw the eyes of any fan. While Venom is getting this exclusive and limited DST mini-bust, Venom will also be getting a 3rd feature film as Venom 3 was recently announced by Sony with Tom Hardy set to reprise his role as the menacing anti-hero.
