Marvel Studios is Returning to San Diego Comic-Con
It has undoubtedly been one of the most important days on the calendar for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has become the setting of some of the biggest moments in the history of the legendary endeavor; one that will continue, as Marvel Studios announced its return to San Diego Comic-Con.
Following the horrific impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on the world, there were changes to the status quo; with entire industries nearly collapsing, and the world transforming before our very eyes.
With the tragedy of the pandemic on the film industry, there was also the reassessment of how the world dealt with very public gatherings; all together changing how we went about certain practices that were more than normal, they were tradition.
Oen of the biggest traditions that had developed over the last decade was the vitality that Comic-Con had to Marvel Studios and the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
An event that would go on to house some of the biggest announcements and unforgettable moments in the history of the MCU, Comic-Con has firmly etched in the calendar of the collective fandom as a day and event that was not to be missed.
After the absence of the event, it has made its triumphant return, and with its return, so too has its importance to the MCU, as Marvel Studios has announced that it will return to San Diego Comic-Con.
During a press conference at the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder (reported via ComicBook.com), the architect of the MCU, Kevin Feige shared the tremendous news to fans around the world.
Feige stated, “We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about. First time since we were on stage three years ago talking about this movie and many others.”
“And now, I think, almost, not everything but almost everything we discussed three years ago,” Fiege added, ” that was released so we are excited to go and talk about the future.”
We cannot wait to hear what comes out of the spectacular event, and what is in store for the Marvel Universe on the horizon.
