Ryan Gosling Reportedly Wants to Play Ghost Rider in the MCU
He is among the best actors of his generation and is still one of the better performers in the world today, and with many fans calling for him to play the arriving Nova, he may have other plans, as Ryan Gosling reportedly wants to play Ghost Rider in the MCU.
There are few Marvel characters that are as beloved and held in as high esteem as Ghost Rider; with Johnny Blaze becoming a cult hero in the world of Marvel comics, and the first in the long line of riders that came after him.

The character was brought to life once before, with Nicholas Cage playing the iconic hero in two live-action adaptions in the 2000s, with the second installment just preceding the arrival of Iron Man, and the film that would change the industry forever.
Since Cage called it quits on the Ghost Rider character, fans have been clamoring to see him brought to life once again, with many eager to see how the Marvel Cinematic Universe would implement the supernatural hero in the realm of the current MCU that we know now.

IT appears as though the MCU may have an actor that has a strong desire to play the character, and it just so happens to be one of the most beloved and talented actors in the business today, as none other than Ryan Gosling reportedly wants to play Ghost Rider in the MCU.
Obviously, like all casting rumors and wishes, we will take this with a grain of salt, but the source seems to indicate that Gosling’s interest is more than a simple wish, as he may actively be campaigning for the role.

The news comes from Josh Horowitz- an entrainment journalist who is among the most well-connected in the industry- who took to Twitter to say that, following an interview with the actor for his upcoming The Gray Man role, Gosling made his desire to play the Marvel hero.
The Tweet stated, “Ryan And I chatted about the Nova rumors yesterday which he said aren’t true. BUT this morning Ryan reached out to me to say there is one superhero he wants to play…GHOST RIDER.”

We can only hope that this rumor is true, as this absolutely makes Gosling seem very intrigued by the prospect of playing the character, and he would be a legendary addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
