BREAKING: Marvel Releases First ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer
It was an arrival that was a long time coming, as fans that filled the seats of Hall H waited patiently to see if it would make its debut now, and it absolutely did; as Marvel released the first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer.
There was no shortage of headline-grabbing announcements that signified the triumphant return of Marvel Studios to the lauded San Diego Comic-Con; a Marvel tradition that had been put on the backburner for two years due to the horrors of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With a plethora of announcements fundamentally changing the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, Marvel Studios ended the night with the first official look at the next MCU film in the Phase Four slate, with a trailer that truly was breathtaking.
Marvel released the first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, showcasing some of the most stunning imagery we’ve ever seen from a Marvel film, and what appears to be as emotional a narrative as the studio has explored to this point.
There was a lot revealed through the trailer, with the Ryan Cooglger epic officially confirming the arrival of Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, and what appears to be a battle waging between the people of Atlantis and the people of Wakanda.
Yet, the emotional center of the film appears to be surrounding the nation of Wakanda’s mourning of the death of T’Challa; with the footage that we’ve seen showcasing many of the characters seemingly coming to terms with the travesty.
There is no denying that this trailer is among the most exciting and visually stunning that Marvel has ever produced, and it points to a film that is quickly becoming the most anticipated Marvel has released in some time.
There is immense potential in this project, with the small amount of footage that we have seen pointing to director Ryan Coogler truly crafting a modern Marvel masterpiece.
