Brand New ‘She/ Hulk’ Featurette Shows How Jennifer Walters Got Her Powers
There have been plenty of rumors surrounding just how the newest MArvel hero came to be, and with the promotional campaign in full swing, and the arrival of the series just a few days away, a brand new She/ Hulk featurette shows how Jennifer Walters got her powers.
When Marvel returned to San Diego Comic-Con and presented some of the most significant announcements in the Studio’s history, fans were ecstatic to hear about the future of their beloved MCU and to gain insight into some of the projects that are set to arrive this year.

One of those projects is the upcoming Disney+ series that will explore the character of Jennifer Walters; a New York-based lawyer whose life gets turned upside down when she uncovers superpowers that allow her to turn into a Hulk-like being.
The series is highly-anticipated for how unique it will be from what Marvel has usually done, presenting a legal comedy in the confines of the Marvel Universe; where Walters is set to serve as a lawyer to the superhero community.

With a brand new trailer arriving on the heels of San Diego Comic-Con and fans getting a taste for what is to come, there were still many questions surrounding the origins of Walters Hulk’s powers, and how they affect her everyday life.
Although the series is just a few weeks away, Marvel has surprisingly unveiled the former, as a new She/ Hulk featurette shows audiences how Jennifer Walter got her powers. It is quite an interesting take on the source material.

Shown in the featurette, it indicates that Walters actually gets into a horrid car accident with Bruce Banner, and when he gets some of her blood mixed with hers, it gives her the same powers and curse that afflicts Banner; leading to her Hulk powers.
It is definitely an interesting take on the original origin story, but it does provide a solid reason as to why she has been granted those superpowers.
