First Reactions for ‘I Am Groot’ are Here!
The upcoming series of Marvel shorts set to explore the adventures of everyone’s favorite child-like alien is set to arrive on Disney+ in just a few weeks, and the first reactions for I Am Groot are here, and it is primed to be Marvel’s cutest entry yet.
There was a lot of uncertainty as to what the newest Marvel series would entail, with fans only knowing that it is set to explore one of the most beloved characters in the MCU’s massive pantheon of characters; Groot.

With the series set to premiere in just a few weeks, various outlets have had the chance to review the series, and all have come to the conclusion that this is hands down the cutest MCU entry yet, as the first reactions for I Am Groot are here.
#IAmGroot is undeniably the most adorable project in the MCU.

One of the initial reactions comes from Richard Nebens of The Direct, who stated that the upcoming Disney+ series is, “undeniably the most adorable project in the MCU,” continuing by noting that it is, “pure fun, pure chaos, and it had me smiling the entire way through.”
It seems as though Nebens views the series of shorts as having perfectly captured a lot of the qualities that make Groot so beloved to Marvel fans, and the unique perspective that he could bring to this endeavor.

the entertainment Twitter account Socalthrills also added to the praise of the new shorts, stating that it is, “Pure perfection,” as it, is an “Amazing animation showcasing Baby Groot on his fun adventures with a few surprises.”
That was echoed by Matt Roembke, who stated to shorts were, “so much fun. So fun to look at. And who doesn’t love Baby Groot?” which adds to the reasons why the series could do so well, with Groot being one of the most adored characters in the MCU currently.

Finally, Alex Zalben of Decider stated that the upcoming series contains, “delightful little snippets featuring everyone’s favorite mono-phrased tree alien, ” adding that, “the comedy is surprisingly dark, though still family-friendly, and often feels like lost bits from Guardians movies.”
