Kevin Feige Promises “Big Swing” For Upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’
There are few projects on the upcoming MCU slate that are as interesting to ponder as the character that is easily among the most beloved characters of the Fox acquisition, as Kevin Feige promises a “Big Swing” for the upcoming Deadpool 3.
It was among the most exciting parts of the Fox acquisition for Marvel, as he was a hero that had been revolutionized into one of the best-selling properties that the studio had; Deadpool has found himself returning to Marvel Studios amidst a two-film franchise that was one of Fox’s best.

Ryan Reynolds brought the character to life on screen in a way that few foresaw, and birthed a hero that may be the best financial success in the industry after two films that blew away the box office; despite it being surrounded by a floundering Fox universe that had been slowly deteriorating.
Yet, following the acquisition of Fox and the guarantee that the character would be getting a third film from Marvel Studios and the Walt Disney Company, many fans were worried about the character’s absence from the announcements at San Diego Comic-Con.

Although fans are absolutely warranted in their concern following the lack of attention to the merc with a mouth at the SDCC festivities, Marvel has affirmed their focus on the character’s franchise, as Kevin Feige has promised a “big swing” for the upcoming Deadpool 3.
First shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Fiege stated, “How do we elevate it in the way we’ve been able to Civil War, and Infinity War, and Ragnarok? Its very fun to be in the world do the Ryan Reynolds show.” noting that the creative team will take a “big Swing” to place it on par with those films.

It is certainly fascinating to hear that Marvel is hard at work in developing a film that will rival those, as each and everyone seemed to be foundational in transcending the property to new heights; something fans can hope will continue with the upcoming third Deadpool film.
